Shawn Semones’ career in agriculture R&D spans more than 22 years.
Currently, he serves as the Vice President for Research and Development with Anuvia Plant Nutrients.
Before moving to Anuvia, Shawn served as Executive Vice President of R&D and CTO for Concentric Ag. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing of Biological Products, as well as business development efforts.
From 1999 to 2018, Shawn led BioAg research and development at Novozymes, where he helped establish and build the BioAg business platform.
Starting in 2015, Shawn also served as site President for the Salem, VA location from 201.
Shawn Semones holds a doctorate in Biology (Plant Physiology/Mycology) from Virginia Tech and a MS in Biology (Plant Physiological Ecology) from Virginia Commonwealth University.
