Julia have been working to build a transparent and predictable regulatory environment that has favored the development of the bioprotection market in Brazil since 2017. Through her work, she has been encouraging the modernization and reduction of bureaucracy in the regulatory frameworks that influence the sector, always based on science and respect for intellectual property.
Julia has gained vast knowledge and experience in crop protection, and most recently developing background on biostimulant products.
In addition, she works actively in structuring a positive agenda between industry, government and other entities representing the bioprotection sector.
Currently, Julia is Responsible for the Regulatory Affairs of Biologicals at CropLife Brasil, the unified voice of the experience of different segments working in research, development and innovation in the areas of seeds, biotechnology, plant protection and digital agriculture in favor of a common agenda.
She is Agricultural Engineer and earned her Bachelor from the University of Brasília (BRA) and the Missouri State University (USA). Julia is also a Specialist in Plant Protection graduated by the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV (BRA).
