Antonio Zem is writing history again as CEO for BioTrop a fast-growing Bioproduct company in Brazil. Antonio was a former FMC leader and has set formerly, as Latin America President and Director, and Corporate Vice President for Latin America. Antonio ensured a double-digit growth, year after year on the revenue line and EBIT line.
Prior to this role, Antonio was General Manager Brazil, driving growth and managing all functions. Antonio also spent several years as Mexico General Manager, responsible for the P&L and growth of the business. In addition, Antonio managed Latin America as marketing and development director in Miami, responsible for development, positioning and marketing FMC products in Latin America with emphasis on the banana market.
Antonio was elected 4 times as the most influential Leader in the Brazilian Agribusiness. Considered by customers and media as the showman of Agribusiness and the closest to customers of the Ag. Industry. Antonio was Invited speaker for Congress and Business Schools on motivation, driving business excellence and recently on Biological Control of Pests and Diseases.
Antonio was also President of Brazil’s Sindiveg (Brazilian Crop Protection Union) from 2004 – 2005; President of Latin America Crop Life Association from 2008 – 2009; Also participated on a few Boards related to the Agro Business: Crop Life Association (Latin America) – 1996 / 2016; Brazilian Crop Life Association (ANDEF) – 2002 / 2016; Industry Federation of São Paulo (FIESP) at the Agribusiness Council – 2009 / 2016; Ruralco ( a Distributor J.V. in Argentina) – 2012 / 2016; Consagro ( A Generic CPP Company in Brazil) – 2008 / 2015
